Seated atop 800 meters above sea level, Campuestuhan Highland Resort has become one of the most visited tourist destinations in Negros Occidental. Because of the unusual and unique attractions Campuestuhan offers to its visitors, the place is mostly flocked by locals and tourists alike especially on weekends, holidays and summer months.

Campuestuhan Highland Resort is a 5-hectare property situated between the mountains of Bacolod City and Talisay City. From this area, one can see the breathtaking view of almost half of the entire Negros province, and even Panay island.

Campuestuhan is likened to a “wonderland” by many. The peculiar attractions, wide-array of leisure activities, the cool temperature and the panoramic view of the place offers its visitors a unique and personalized kind of experience. The entrance itself to the resort is a complete shoutout of what visitors have to expect when inside Campuestuhan.

The five-hectare Campuestuhan Highland Resort highlights a number of themed-facilities, adventure rides and other leisure activities. The first thing we visited was the still-in-construction Windmill.
Since Campuestuhan is a very colorful place, I bet this add-on structure will give everyone the feels of Amsterdam once the construction is finished.
See that flowing waters at my back?? One can actually just sit around on those edges and give your feet a soft and relaxing water massage.
After crossing the little bridge right on the foot of the Windmill, are the cute little Bonita Huts.

Ever a fan of the movie Lord of the Rings?? Well, these concrete cabin accomodations within the resort are actually inspired by those Hobbit houses in the movie. These cabins are up for rent for Php2,500.00 per night, good for a maximum of four persons.

Our next stop would be the Indian Village!

Just bordering the very cute Bonita Huts, these triangular accomodations the resort officialy calls as ‘Teepee Hut Room’ can be rented for an overnight stay for a fee of Php5,000.00. The payment includes entrance fees and breakfast good for six persons.
My partner and I were huge fans of Transformers movie series. This fandom was actually what this Campuestuhan trip is all about – to see Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee eye to eye, face to face. Haha!
Aside from these two, the Heroes’ Hall in Campuestuhan also highlights other superheroes like Superman, Spiderman, Batman, Ironman, San Goku, Wonderwoman, Green Lantern, Incredible Hulk, Thor and Captain America.
Even famous personages in the world like Elvis Presley and Michael Jordan are here!
And who would ever miss the giant King Kong in the backgrounds roaring his presence in Campuestuhan!

Just like Bonita Huts and the Teepee Hut Rooms in the Indian Village, inside the giant King Kong statue are accomodations worth Php6,000.00 per night. This figure comes with free breakfast and is already good for 6 persons.
Laid to the right of King Kong is a model of a US Air Force fighting aircraft. And who are we to deny we also want some pictures with her? 😃
On our way back to the entrance of the resort, we also stopped by Campuestuhan’s Log Cabin to take some outside photo ops.
Log Cabin accomodations offer rooms which are good for 3-6 persons, 4-8, or 5-10 persons. For an overnight fee of Php3,000.00, Php4,000.00 and Php5,000.00, respectively, guests are already free of entrance fees and breakfast for the next day.
Wherever you look, Campuestuhan has something different to satisfy you. And that’s the last thing we wanted to do here. Find some place within to satisfy our eyes of the whole Campuestuhan beauty.
There’s no better place to appreciate the whole magical Campuestuhan than the resort’s Hanging Bridge. While at the Bridge, look to your left and see the colorful sights of Campuestuhan and on your right, savor the breathtaking view of Negros Island Region and Panay Island.
Aside from the attractions I already highlighted on the earlier part of this article, Campuestuhan has really still more to offer.

Campuestuhan also has its own Restaurant Pavillon that serves classic Filipino and international dishes.
Outdoor adventure rides are also a big hit in the resort. These rides include the Rope Course (Php200.00), Zip Line (Php200.00), Horseback Riding (Php150.00/15 minutes), Sky Biking (Php100.00/one-way), Hamster Wheel (Php100.00), Grand Carousel (Php30.00), Mini Train (Php30.00) and an upcoming Bungee Trampoline and Chairlift ride.
Though we didn’t had the chance to experience those rides (as we want to be back in Bacolod City before afternoon), that did not lessen our joy and satisfaction with our visit in Campuestuhan. With all those attractions my eyes had laid upon? Well, biking in the sky or walking in the hamster wheel will really just be a bonus.
Someday when I get to have my own kids, I’ll surely bring them to Campuestuhan and for sure, I’ll get childish one more time. ☺️☺️ More travels fellows! ✈️🌍
Great line up. We will be linking to this excellent article on our site.
